I am a licensed Mental Health counselor therapist, with a private practice in Newton Center.  I have 15 years of experience working with individuals and couples.

I provide psychotherapy to individuals and couples who are dissatisfied with their life or/and interpersonal relationships and who aspire to lead a more meaningful life. Through the development of a therapeutic relationship, I will guide  and help you make the kind of changes that will lead to  you break psychological barriers and overcome obstacles that you regain control over your life and reach self empowerment.

I offer a warm, supportive, nurturing, and non-judgmental,  therapeutic environment .

I am fluent in English and Hebrew.


 Individual Therapy

I help clients define how they want their lives to be different and to identify the steps that will help them reach their goals.

Anxiety Disorders– Panic, OCD, Generalized Anxiety Disorder, and Social Anxiety.

I mostly use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) which studies have shown to be the most effective therapy for treating anxiety. It consists of teaching the patient specific ways to replace negative thoughts and behaviors with more realistic and positives ones.

Mood disorders—depression, and Bipolar—I use Psychodynamic, CBT, and Mind/Body  in order to help relieve depressive symptoms and heal emotional pain.

Anger management— I help clients  develop skills that will help them express anger through appropriate verbalization s and healthy physical outlets.


 Couples Therapy

I help couples create the kind of relationship they want and learn to enjoy each other again

Communication skills—I help couples learn to  talk to each other in a more effective way, so they will actually be able to understand each other more.

I help spouses identify their needs and how they can be met, so that they can communicate  them to their spouse in an effective manner.

Conflict resolution—I will teach you how to argue effectively, in a respectful manner and  how you and your partner can come to reach resolutions.

Parenting - I help parents find constructive and positive ways to parent, and discipline.


Women issues 

Women issues—life transitions, relationships, new motherhood, pre/post partum issues, and menopause.

I enjoy helping women take control of their life, and follow their dreams

I will help you make meaningful and necessary changes that will result in  overall increased satisfaction.

Divorce Issues - I help and support clients as they go through this  difficult stressful event .

The emotional toll of a divorce can be particularly difficult for women who  deal with a certain set of challenges - financial insecurity, potentially reentering the job market, and juggling the responsibilities of children and career.
